POMBINO – PUNTA CALAMITA – GOLFO STELLA – 4 HOURS OF NAVIGATION
We sail on our one-week itinerary to the Island of Elba. With a beautiful 3-hour sailing we dubbed “Punta della Calamita”, whose name derives from the ancient iron mines. Here we will stop at the Remaiolo beach for a bath and a nice lunch in one of the most evocative views of the island. On the one hand the old mines still visible from the sea, on the other an incredible play of water colors thanks to the presence of minerals in the sandy bottom.
In the afternoon a bit of sailing fun to go up the Golfo Stella, the first of the 3 great gulfs on the south side of Elba. We will aim for the beach of Norsi, where to spend an evening in the setting of the gulf over which Capoliveri overlooks, and a small chiringuito on the beach with a simple atmosphere and excellent Mojito.
GOLFO STELLA – LACONELLA – FETOVAIA – 2 HOURS OF NAVIGATION
After breakfast and a nice refreshing bath we leave to discover one of the most beautiful beaches on the Elba Island, the beach of Laconella, in the Gulf of Lacona. Here we will find a turquoise and crystal clear water, on clear sandy bottoms that descend gently to the beach. It will be a morning of diving, swimming and relaxing, as if we were anchored in a huge pool.
In the afternoon a little more sailing to head towards the Caribbean beach of Fetovaia in the south-West of the island. We will spend the night here to continue the next day to Capraia. Last bath and another evening immersed in nature, under a sea of stars.
FETOVAIA – CAPRAIA (GAVITELLO) – 5 HOURS OF NAVIGATION
We set sail in the morning for the island of Capraia, about 4/5 hours away from sailing. Bathing and lunch at anchor in one of the coves on the east coast of the island, such as Cala del Ceppo. Stunning places for snorkeling with a variety of seabed and amazing fish.
In the afternoon we will move in front of the village, to go ashore and discover this little wonder of the Mediterranean, between restaurants overlooking the sea and restaurants specializing in fresh and raw fish.
CAPRAIA – MARCIANA MARCIANA (PORT) – 4 HOURS OF NAVIGATION
In the morning we will visit a new cove on the Island of Capraia, between the clear water of Cala della Mortola to the north, or the suggestive cliff of Cala del Moreto on the southern tip.
In the early afternoon we leave in the direction of the port of Marciana Marina. Here we will spend the night inside the marina to enjoy a nice hot shower, a dinner out and an evening in the streets of this characteristic Elban village
MARCIANA – SANT'ANDREA – VITICCIO – 2 HOURS OF NAVIGATION
We give up the moorings from the port of Marciana to head a little further west, in front of the village of Sant'Andrea. Anchored on granitic sand in front of a characteristic cliff. On the one hand a narrow path that passes between the rocks connects two small beaches, on the other the cliff extends creating a natural swimming pool deep about 40 cm. The show continues under the sea with a mask and snorkel!
In the afternoon we will then move to the Gulf of Procchio, to the beach of Viticcio. Postcard setting and evening surrounded by nature.
VITICCIO – PALMAROLA – PIOMBINO – 3 SAILING HOURS
Wake up in a large natural pool where you can swim and relax lulled by the sea. We will stay here for the morning. After lunch we move a little further into the Gulf of Procchio, to the Paolina beach. Characterized by the nearby islet covered by the Mediterranean scrub, it owes its name to the sister of Napoleon Bonaparte, who joined him on the Elba island during his exile, and was apparently enchanted by the colors of the water.
In the afternoon we still have time for a last stop at the islet of Palmaiola where you can enjoy the last bath of the week among a multitude of fish, before returning to the port of Piombino.
